This database is a copy of the DOAJ selection of Open Access Journals, originally hosted by Lund University Libraries, Sweden.

Directory of Open Access Journals is a service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. The Directory aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it will not be limited to particular languages or subject areas. The aim of the Directory is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact. It coverages the holdings of 20,300 journals with 8,8 million articles.

JSTOR

JSTOR is an Online-Archive with access to online full text to selected journals from all subjects with emphasis on Humanities and Social Sciences.

The database covers the holdings of 4.6900 journals with 13.3 Mio. articles.

Medline

MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) covers 35 million holdings from 26,000 serials of worldwide literature on every area of medicine, including dental medicine, veterinary medicine, psychology, and public health from 1946 to present. The database corresponds to the printed "Index Medicus" and to some other printed material.

Springer E-Journals

This database contains more than 4,890,000 articles from the 3.552 electronic journals of the Springer International Publishing AG from their beginning up to now. The database is updated regularly.

Access to the full text requires a corresponding access authorization. The full texts of more than 630,000 open access articles can be accessed without restrictions.
